  • Signing of the Marriage Register and opportunity for you to exchange personal vows and rings if you so choose. Or, one of our Marriage Officers will arrive at a specified time after your private ceremony to sign your Marriage Register.
  • One 30-minute consultation (via zoom or telephonically) can be booked to discuss documents required.
  • 2 witnesses need to be present at the signing
  • You specify the time and place.
  • Marriage Officer does not attend your private ceremony or conduct a “traditional” ceremony for you.
  • Duration of signing: 10 minutes

  • A hand written A5 abridged marriage certificate will be issued immediately after signing the marriage register.
  • The marriage officer will submit your register to Home Affairs within 14 days after marriage.

  • Your stamped and signed copy of the marriage register will be available for collection from our office or couriered to you by prior arrangement.

Observe Ceremony and Paperwork (Your home or venue)

  • A Marriage Officer will attend and observe your private ceremony conducted by someone else. Signing of the marriage register to follow immediately after the ceremony.
  • One 30-minute consultation (via zoom or telephonically) can be booked to discuss documents required and any special instructions, if signing is part of ceremony.
  • 2 witnesses need to be present at the signing
  • Duration of event including signing: 30 minutes (Stipulate if ceremony will be longer than this)

  • An Officiant will conduct your “traditional” wedding ceremony as per a normal wedding, but without any legal signing of a marriage register or official paperwork.
  • A minimum of 2 x “1 -hour” consultations (in person, via zoom or telephonically) can be booked with the officiant that will be conducting your ceremony.

  • A Marriage officer will conduct your full “traditional” wedding ceremony as well as doing the legal signing of the marriage register. Ceremony personally tailored around you as a couple.
  • A minimum of 2 x “1 -hour” consultations (in person, via zoom or telephonically) can be booked with the officiant that will be marrying you to discuss your wedding ceremony and paperwork required.
