Online dating… not a new concept!

But when 3 friends were braaiing (“barbequing” South African style) round a pool one day, they decided it was time to give a facelift to the whole concept of online dating! After lots of brainstorming (and even some suggestions from boyfriends, husbands etc), they came up with the name WHY KNOT for a site which would offer members the usual benefits of a dating site and so much more! From day one the key ingredients have always been the same…

Friends, flirting, fame but mostly, FUN!

The 3 friends’ first step was to test out their ideas by doing loads of market research. Once they got the positive feedback they’d hoped for and the green light was shouting back “GO GO GO!” they know they could only make a success of it and just had to go for it.

And as the name says, WHY NOT hey?

Members of Why Knot have lots of entertainment awaiting them, from Meet & Greet functions/home-grown parties/free make-over to the chance of being noticed by agents in the world of entertainment!
